The position suits an analytical thinking and self-driven individual, with a keen eye for detail. The job environment requires motivation and time management skills to ensure results are delivered within the time frames et and KPIs are achieved. The person fulfilling the role would enjoy challenging situations and can work within the broad parameters of the organisation and Credit Policy. The ideal person will have Credit Risk experience and be positive, self-confident, self-motivated, imaginative, inquisitive, and self-disciplined. The individual is to excel at meetings, have excellent communication skills and produce quality reports to ensure complete visibility of our credit risk processes.
Job Summary
- To achieve the KPIs set
- Support and develop Credit Risk Team Members
- Develop a smarter and efficient way of working
- To produce first-class reports in relation to the management of the back-office Credit Risk Process
- Share best practice with the Credit Risk Team
- Produce a monthly report for the HOC
- Assist in all areas of credit management as and when required
- Any other duties deemed appropriate in conjunction with this role
- To support the HOC holding regular monthly 1-2-1s with each team member
- Ensuring concise reporting and visibility of outstanding UNWAR and 90 day balances
- Project manage the private equity accounts
- Responsible for all aspects of credit control of the very high risk graded members
- Support HOC in credit checking members on receipt of their yearly financial statements
Performance Standards
- Credit control and allocations experience is essential
- Good excel skills
- Experience within the industry
- Ability to interpret financial statements
- The ability to identify the stress signals with financial statements or management information
- An excellent telephone manner
- Capable of working under pressure to meet necessary deadlines
