ROCKWOOL®, the UK’s leading manufacturer of sustainable, non-combustible stone wool insulation, is pleased to announce two new appointments to its Merchant and DIY team.
Cameron Lee joins ROCKWOOL in the role of National Sales Manager for Merchants & DIY, and will lead the overall team. Prior to joining ROCKWOOL, Cameron spent the last nine years working for two insulation companies in branch and regional director roles.
Cameron’s position will see him managing and developing the ROCKWOOL Merchant and DIY division, raising awareness about the company’s colleagues and products, and focusing on how ROCKWOOL can add real value for its diverse range of customers.
Talking about his new role, Cameron says: “I’m looking forward to working with great people in such a well-respected and market-leading UK-based manufacturer. My first priority will be getting to know the team and understanding how I can help them grow and develop to continue providing the very best service to our valued customers.”
Rob Cookson has also joined the Merchant and DIY team at ROCKWOOL in the role of National Accounts Manager – Merchants & DIY. Rob has always worked within the construction industry, and joins ROCKWOOL following his most recent role at a roofing company, where he spent seven years in various sales positions.
Rob’s main responsibilities will be looking after ROCKWOOL’s national builders’ merchant and DIY customers, both at head office level, and supporting branches and regions who want to stock the ROCKWOOL Trade Range.
Speaking about his appointment, Rob comments: “I’m excited to be part of the team and to be working with a company which is so highly regarded within the industry. I’m looking forward to helping our customers develop their ROCKWOOL ranges and support their own customers with their ROCKWOOL experience.”
Mark Bungay, Commercial Director at ROCKWOOL, concludes: “It’s an exciting time for us here at ROCKWOOL, adding two new knowledgeable colleagues to our Merchant and DIY team. Cameron and Rob each bring a wealth of industry experience to their roles, and will undoubtedly have a positive impact both on the team, and the company as a whole.”
