Events Manager
I joined NMBS over 25 years ago on a YTS Scheme in the Secretary department doing general office duties for the accounts department, then moved to work in the Commercial departure looking after Business Services. Moved on to the marketing/events department assisting with events, and my final destination was Events Manager, which I have now been doing for over 15 years.
My role involves organising all events for NMBS – Exhibition, Golf Day, Dinner Dance, Conference, and Supplier Lunch.
I love running and am part of my village running club who I run with 3 times a week, my biggest achievement was completing the 2022 Manchester Marathon in 4hrs 26 mins.
