With just eight weeks to go, momentum is gathering fast for the NMBS Exhibition. As the UK’s leading event for independent building, timber, plumbing and hardware merchants, it is a great chance to conduct business in an informal atmosphere, as well as an opportunity to meet existing and potential brand leading manufacturers and distributors.
Taking place at Coventry Building Society Arena, the event always promises to attract a huge crowd. As an exhibitor, it’s important to consider the best way to showcase your product or service in such a busy environment, together with how you can encourage attendees to visit your stand.
What to know about your space
At the NMBS Exhibition, all stand bookings are space only, meaning you are allocated a marked-out space within the exhibition hall in which you can build your stand from scratch.
You also get a 500W electric socket included with your space booking, but all other services will need to be arranged in addition to this. You should consider the following:
- Extra costs for electrics, internet/WiFi, catering, lifting etc.
- Your stand’s design should be carefully thought-out to create the biggest impact
- What kind of flooring do you want? Carpet, wood effect, or something customised?
- How can you use the walling to create the biggest visual impact?
- Do you want any furniture, such as tables for display purposes, or seating to create a more comfortable, informal environment?
