Power tools and accessories manufacturer, FEIN, has appointed Sam Bearman as central east area sales manager, who joins from Makita.
Sam, who had been with Makita for 23 years, where he started as a warehouse supervisor before moving into sales, was instrumental in developing some of the business’ biggest accounts, including Travis Perkins and Jewson.
Joining FEIN back in June, Sam’s new role will focus on growing the manufacturer’s existing central east client base, while driving new streams of revenue across the Buckinghamshire, West Yorkshire, Suffolk and Norfolk regions.
“As the inventor of many innovative power tools, FEIN has always had a great reputation as a brand that genuinely looks at the challenges of its end customers to provide them with the right tools to better their applications.
“FEIN is unique in the fact that it is a well-established brand, but it also offers the close-kit family-like environment I was looking for in my next role. I’m excited to be onboard during an exciting time for the business and to play a pivotal role in the growth plans for the area,” comments Sam Bearman, area sales manager for central east, FEIN UK.
Former key account manager and areas sales manager within the region, Vance Godfrey, has also been promoted to national sales manager. Vance’s new role will now focus on supporting multi-branch businesses and increasing FEIN’s stock profile nationally across large merchants/dealers.
Andy Mills, managing director of FEIN UK, adds: “We’re thrilled to be bolstering our team and to welcome Sam on board, who really is an industry heavyweight, while also promoting Vance who has been an integral member of the team for the past four years.
“With several ground-breaking product launches happening this year alone, we know we have the right people to further strengthen these launches on the ground.”
With over 150 years’ experience in manufacturing power tools, FEIN has a rich history of innovation and provides high levels of support to dealers, along with application-based solutions for end-users in the metalworking and construction sectors.
