A. Perry Ltd, a proud fourth-generation family-owned business and a cornerstone of British manufacturing, is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025. Since its founding in 1925 by Arthur Perry, the company has remained steadfast in its commitment to quality, innovation, and serving the needs of diverse industries, from agriculture to equestrian and beyond.

A Legacy of Excellence

Founded by Arthur Perry, A. Perry Ltd began as “Perry Hinges,” supplying hinges and gutter brackets to the local community, later, during WW2, A. Perry was called upon for the supply and manufacture of ammunition boxes as well as components for RAF Bombers. After a century of trading the company has evolved into the UK’s market leader in agricultural and architectural ironmongery, serving the trade with a diverse portfolio of products across many areas of agriculture, construction, landscaping and engineering. The company also houses several other contrasting brands including award winning Perry Equestrian, and the leading garden décor brand Primus.

Remaining as a family-owned business to this day, the trade only company is proudly run by Arthur Perry’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who continue to uphold the values and traditions that have defined the company for a century. Their dedication to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction has enabled the company to evolve and thrive in a competitive marketplace. In the last few years winning multiple industry renowned awards such as the Midlands Family Business of the Year 2022, Midlands Manufacturer of the Year 2022, BETA Trade Supplier of the Year, DIY Week Sustainability Initiative of the Year 2023, as well as others.
