NMBS offers exclusive supplier offers and terms to independent merchants via centralised purchasing, marketing and event activities. We also speed up the invoice-to-payment process of manually processing invoices and credits.

What is the difference between being a member or a supplier?

A member of NMBS is an independent Builders, Timber, Roofing, Hardware, Plumbing or Heating Merchant.

A supplier of NMBS is a manufacturer or distributor of building products, who sell their products to Independent Merchants.

What is the membership criteria?

Full NMBS Member Criteria:

  • One-off fee of £2,500 when joining
  • Minimum company turnover = £750,000
  • Net Worth = minimum £50,000
  • Liquid Ratio = minimum 1.00
  • Acid Ratio = minimum 0.60
  • Minimum 2 years trading
  • Must have a trade counter
  • Must hold stock

 

Affiliate Membership Criteria:

  • Annual Fee of £1,500
  • Maximum 3 years of Affiliate Membership
  • Minimum company turnover = £600,000
  • Must have a positive Net Worth
  • Ideal solution for new start up merchants

How do I reset my OnePlace password?

On the login page of OnePlace, please click ‘Forgotten Password?’. You will be directed to enter your email address and will receive an email to reset your password. Please see guide for step-by-step instructions: Download Guide.

The message ‘No account found’ will appear if you do not have an account. Please complete the online form and a member of the team will be in touch regarding creating you a login: Account Request.

How do I manually create an order on OnePlace?

You can create an order in the Quick Order screen on OnePlace. Please see guide for step-by-step instructions: Download Guide.

How do I export a Supplier's product data?

You can download product data on OnePlace under Product Data Export. Select your chosen format and then select your chosen Supplier(s) from the dropdown menu. The export will show in the Export History to download.

How do I get set up to use Straight Through Ordering?

Please send 8-10 copies of recently used PDFs to oneplace@nmbs.co.uk and the team will map these.
