Representatives from the independent merchanting sector gathered for the 2024 NMBS Golf Day at Woburn Golf and Country Club in Buckinghamshire. Blessed with sunny weather, the annual event attracted over 90 players from NMBS’ 1000+ merchant members and 450 building industry supply partners.
The participants enjoyed a round on The Marquess Course, a challenging layout spanning 200 acres of mixed woodland across the Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire boundary. Named after the Marquess of Tavistock, the course is affectionately known as the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ for its diverse and rolling terrain.
The day began with a shotgun start, ensuring all players teed off and finished simultaneously. Prizes were awarded following the completion of the course:
